Free Bug & Insect Coloring Pages
Free printable bug and insect coloring pages, ready to print in seconds. The pack has 12 friendly creepy-crawlies — a ladybug, bee, butterfly, snail, dragonfly and more — with clean, easy outlines. No sign-up, always free. Ages 3 to 8.
Sketchopia is a drawing app for about ten minutes
After that, the drawing your child just made becomes a game they play, a lesson they read out loud, and stock in a little art shop they run. Same artwork as the sheets you are printing — it just does rather more once it is on a screen.

1. They draw
A blank canvas with brushes, stickers and colors — or one of our outlines to color in.

2. It becomes a game
Their drawing is the character. The car they just drew is the car they now steer and score with.

3. It becomes a lesson
Spell it, say it, rhyme it, then real facts, quizzes and maths — all built around what they drew.

4. They run an art studio
Frame it, hang it in their own gallery, then price it and haggle with customers. Real money sense.

How to use these printables
- Download the free PDF and print at home — standard A4 or US Letter paper both work.

- Grab crayons, pencils or markers and let your child take it from there. There’s no right way to finish a page.
Good to know
- Bugs are a great way to start a chat about nature — where each one lives and what it does.
- Symmetry practice: a butterfly and a ladybug look the same on both sides.
- Take the ladybug and butterfly sheets into the garden — matching a drawing to a real insect turns colouring into a spotting game.
- Counting legs is built in: six on the insects, eight on the spider. It is an easy first sorting question.
- The sheets are pure line art, so printing on draft or economy quality saves ink without losing anything.
